Хорошо бы написать скрипт, автоматически нажимающий кнопки Activate и Continue в версиях 7.3.x и выше, и дополнить им инсталлятор. Если такое в принципе возможно, конечно.

Из того, чем владею немного (подразумеваю AutoIt) скрипт подвязывается на окно. Да и у кнопки должен быть какой-то идентификатор (не уверен, что тут он есть). Но в данном случае, открывается в браузере по умолчанию и очевидно, что у всех он разный, а значит и окна разные.

There is a "cure" for the current version.
But it is either not entirely successful or it is now impossible to do otherwise. An account is required to work (a free one with temporary mail is sufficient). BUT! The account is authorized with an additional window for opening the browser (then closes) EACH TIME the program starts. I didn't like all this. Yes, I am using that program currently. Each time you open the standalone product, you must click on "Activate" and then "Continue" buttons before using the product. But it works very well and does and excellent job in my opinion.

The plugins is even more annoying because each time you want to use Gigapixel you must go through the "Activate" and "Continue" routines. Because of that, it is much easier just to use the standalone product.

It would be nice to have a portable for this product though. :(

I understand that red is the color of danger. But a human is not a bull to just react to red. He's capable of reading.
Riskware/Crack and Win32/HackTool.Crack - Isn't there a cracked program in the repack? Fair recognition.
Possible-Threat.LRepacks - yes this is a repack from LRepacks (again fair recognition).
The answer was given earlier. False detection.

NP. And I'll tell you more. There are repacks on this site with a significantly higher number of false positives.
But this does not mean at all that they contain viruses. Repacks with viruses are NOT rational and do not bring any benefit.

Good evening.
Using the repack is simple:
1. Create any empty folder in which you will download the repack.
2. Put this folder (empty for now) into antivirus (Windows Defender) exclusions. Otherwise antivirus may delete the repack.
3. Download the repack into this folder.
4. Unpack the archive topaz_gigapixel_ai_7.2.3.zip into this folder.
5. Turn off antivirus (Windows Defender) during the installation of the repack.
6. Install the program Topaz Gigapixel AI 7.2.3:
- If you choose to run the file "_Silent Install.cmd" - the program will install automatically with default parameters.
- If you want to control the installation process (maybe change the installation path, choose whether to install the program in the system or unpack the portable version, see which components of the program are installed and in which folder) - run the file "Topaz Gigapixel AI 7.2.3.exe" - this is a normal installation with a graphical interface.
- If you select the file "_Unpack Portable.cmd" - the folder of the portable version of the program will be unpacked into this folder.
Note: if after installing the program it will not start or will not work properly (for example, it will require a license) - it is an antivirus deleted files " crack" ("treatment") in the program. In this case you should add the folder with the installed program and "treatment" files to the antivirus exceptions and reinstall the program.

Hey, Thank you so much for ur help. I installed the program with the normal installation interface, I selected "Standard installation of the program" and once installed the photo's in the program wouldnt upscale. The bar wouldnt move, but i then unpacked the portable version instead and that downloaded a working version of the program. is that ok to use the portable version?

You can use any convenient option. But there should be no difference in functionality between installing and portable.

I would advise you to always perform the first installation or unpacking of portable manually in order to see the available set of installation options and select the one you need.
Although in this case there are no additional functions and can be installed using CMD.

The actual answer IS, the first rule of using any hacked software is to turn off ALL antivirus software before installing. Turn in back on afterwards. If you don't trust the site and it's author, then you shouldn't be here in the first place!

False positives are almost always going to pop up in antivirus programs when using hacked software.

v7.2.1 isn't working! It either stops during up-scaling or the wheel just goes into an endless spin. There have been problems with both your Photo AI (v.3.0.4) and now Gigapixel. Perhaps it would be a good idea to test these programs before releasing them to the public?

1. Tested only for launching and downloading models. Testing at work is not possible for me.
2. We are talking about a non-public (beta) version. Of course she may have some problems.

I see nothing in your comments other than various kinds of dissatisfaction. I think we will both benefit if you don't use repacks from this site. Perhaps it would be a good idea don't visit such resources with such a consumerist and negative attitude.

Same system, same version, same image, but different results with just one nuance of use. Moreover, the first option is exactly the behavior described.

By downloading version 5.8.0 get a message about virus:
Win32:Malware-gen, Trojan.Gen.9, BehavesLike.Win32.BadFile.hc

I try it with different AntiVirus software: Avast, AWG, Symantec, Sophos, McAfee ...
The result is the same: the file Topaz Gigapixel AI 5.8.0.exe is infected

Please see what the reason is.

This is most likely a reaction to the bootloader of the portable version. Antiviruses do not like yAP launchers. To create symlinks, these loaders have a “matryoshka” structure and require elevated rights.

In the repack of the program itself, all files (except for the patched dll) are original. Therefore, there is simply nowhere for any viruses to come from. Yes, and they are not on this site.

I downloaded a zip archive from the uploadrar website and unpacked it.
When unpacking, the antivirus indicated that the file with the extension was infected:
Topaz Gigapixel AI 5.8.0.exe

All other cmd and bin files seem to be clean.

I took and checked the Topaz Gigapixel AI 5.8.0.exe file on several other antivirus programs and they pointed out to me the presence of a virus in this particular file.
I downloaded a repack of your other program from the same manufacturer (Topaz Video Enhance), no viruses were found there.

Please take a look again, maybe the virus has crept in on the uploadrar website, but do you have a clean version?

What prevents you from downloading a repack from another service and comparing the reaction?
I don't think it's an issue with the download service.
Do not use the repack if you have any doubts. You will not find any understanding from me on the issue of antiviruses. I don't trust them. How can they be trusted after something like this (and there are many similar examples)?

The installed version of 7.1.4 doesn't work. It gets hung-up on Upscaling as the revolving circle is endless.
