      Hello Maxim,
      since today, this old version of TeamViewer has started disconnecting the remote connection frequently in every 5-10 minutes showing this message.
      So at this point it's completely unusable & like other users also reported the same, I remember you said earlier that a new repack will only published once the current one stopped working, so I believe the time has come to release a new repack

         @SM03 My TeamViewer is doing the exact same thing as yours, even after repeated ID resets, and a reinstall. Effectively, my TeamViewer connections are no longer possible because of the quick disconnections. I have to switch all of the people I connect with to something else other than TeamViewer. So far, I am having success with the free HopToDesk. I hope whatever you switch to as a replacement for TeamViewer works perfectly for you.

            Hi midas89,
            yes, I forgot to mention in my OP that I also tried the reset ID several times, but no luck, that trick is also no longer working, therefore posted here.
            
            And I am seeing all these suggestions of HopToDesk & RustDesk here as the TV alternatives, I still haven't personally tried out any of them but from the YT tutorial that I've seen, these two look like a copy of AnyDesk GUI, many similarities
            
            AnyDesk I've used but the connection speed & transition are not seamless like TV, so I don't prefer that, if no newer TV repack published here then I have to try those two in any way & have to settle with one.

      I connected to a remote computer today and a notice appeared that the remote computer had to be updated from 15.40. After the remote computer updated to the latest TeamViewer, my TeamViewer kept disconnecting. I think have to give up on TeamViewer unless in the future someone comes up with a way to defeat the new TeamViewer protections.
      
      So, I tried HopToDesk today, which is free. It worked perfectly. No disconnections. It's completely free, so no worry of commercial use suspected. And you do not have to sign up for an account. It's also Mac & Windows cross compatible. I am in no way related to HopToDesk. I am only reporting my experience to see if it might help anyone else here. If anyone tries HopToDesk, hopefully they will report if any future issues should appear.

         I doubt TeamViewer will completely abolish the free version. They will simply continue to make it less appealing for free users. They are using Artificial Intelligence to try and detect commercial use, and often it will make a mistake. TeamViewer will also force people using the free version to require that the remote computer update to a later version, and stop allowing connections to older versions even if their version is in the same 15 family. And TeamViewer is lowering the amount of different remote connections before it flags use as commercial. And if your session goes on for long, TeamViewer Artificial Intelligence might suspect commercial use and disconnect.
         
         Some people are reporting elsewhere they are trying free alternatives, such as HopToDesk, RustDesk, and HelpWire. (AnyDesk is good, but they eventually blocked me after too many different connections. Some people posted what they think is a way to reset AnyDesk, but after I tried the method it was unsuccessful. My AnyDesk was still blocked as commercial use suspected.)
         
         So, for now I am using the latest version of TeamViewer Portable which I downloaded from TeamViewer's site, and will continue until it doesn't work anymore, and then I will try one of the free alternatives after hopefully some people here post which one is best.

         Используйте AnyDesk, но не новую версию, а 7.0.14 или 7.0.15. Отключить обновления! Не использовать Proxy Server в настройках! Отключить аппаратное ускорение. И будет вам счастье.

            AnyDesk will eventually get blocked if one connects to too many different computers, just as TeamViewer does.

      Кто знает легкую альтернативу на TeamViewer? У меня 2 ноута есть, надо прога что бы контролировать файловую систему у другого ноута. У этих прог есть и визуальный контроль но мне надо легкий и тока контроль файл. систему. Знает кто то алтернативу (было бы отлично если оно поддерживал драг-дроп)?

            RustDesk is not bad, but speed is very slow. Im sending 10-15 files, my internet is good, but sending speed is very low.

       Signing into your TeamViewer account requires an email with a link being sent, as you know, but recently the email either never arrives or is delayed by many hours. I do not know whether this is a permanent situation where they might have blocked either the IP address or blocked the TeamViewer account itself. RustDesk and HopToDesk are two adequate free alternatives to TeamViewer, and you can succeed with both, but they are not as great as TeamViewer. With either RustDesk or HopToDesk, you can also do Windows to Mac and Mac to Windows connections, and you can do file transfers just like with TeamViewer. So, if your TeamViewer stops working, you can at least make the unlimited connections for free using either RustDesk or HopToDesk. You can also use AnyDesk, but if you connect your AnyDesk to more than a small amount of computers, AnyDesk will eventually block you due to the "commercial use" suspicion.

             @yerebakan I have removed the AnyDesk folder from AppData, but the AnyDesk ID Number does not change after reinstalling AnyDesk. And it is the AnyDesk ID Number that is what eventually becomes blocked. Are you saying that after you delete the AnyDesk folder from AppData and then you reinstall AnyDesk that you get a new AnyDesk ID Number? Thank you.

       спасибо, но вот затык - версия teamviewer_15.40.8F после установки на обоих компах и сщединения, прерывает соединение через минуту, говорит что session has timed out and will be closed. Что делать?
